Egypt's Expected Growth "Higher" than Global Average- Mohieldin

Mahmoud Mohieldin, Executive Director of the International Monetary Fund said that the expected average growth for this year at the world level will range from 5 to 4.9% globally, due to the new variant “Omicron”,

Mohieldin noted that developing countries, including the African continent and the Arab countries, will be less in growth than the global averages, and will range from 3 to 4% according to each region.

He added, during a call-in with TV anchor Lubna Assal and Mustafa Sherdy, that according to the World Bank, a growth rate for Egypt is expected to reach 5.5%, and this is more than the global average, and this indicates Until the rates are safe."

He expressed his happiness about participating in the World Youth Forum (WYF), pointing out that the organization and arrangement of the forum is an exceptional thing.
