The Egyptian Armed Forces joined children of martyrs and those who have lost their families in celebrating Orphan's Day on Sunday, reaffirming their commitment to social solidarity and community cohesion.
The celebrations featured a wide range of recreational, cultural, and sporting activities organized by the Egyptian Military Academy and the Non-Commissioned Officers Institute for Instructors. In addition, in-kind gifts were distributed to the children as part of efforts to bring joy and support to participants.
Activities included an open-top bus tour that allowed the children to explore Egypt’s historic landmarks, as well as a Nile cruise along the Nile River, giving them the opportunity to enjoy one of the country’s most iconic natural features.
The event was attended by a number of commanders, officers, and leaders from military colleges and institutes, along with participants in civilian training programs. Their presence underscored the Armed Forces’ ongoing efforts to support younger generations as a key pillar of national development.
The celebrations were marked by a festive atmosphere, with visible joy among the children, who took commemorative photos with members of the Armed Forces, reflecting a spirit of unity and compassion that left a lasting impression on all participants.
