The "Egyptian Hands" handicrafts exhibition, held in Giza from February 25 to 26, 2025, celebrates the rich tradition of Egyptian craftsmanship. The event features an array of handmade products, including carpets, porcelain, pottery, and other distinctive handicrafts from Giza and various Egyptian governorates, as well as from Arab and international artisans.

In his remarks, Adel el-Naggar, Governor of Giza, highlighted that the exhibition underscores Egypt's commitment to promoting the handicrafts sector, emphasizing its crucial role in empowering women and youth economically and supporting local community development.

He also stressed the governorate's dedication to collaborating with stakeholders to organize exhibitions and forums that provide a platform for artisans and heritage craftsmen. These initiatives aim to spotlight the unique crafts for which many villages in Giza are renowned while enhancing product marketing and sales.

To further support the industry, el-Naggar noted that the governorate is offering training programs to handicraft producers, helping them enhance their skills. These efforts are part of a broader marketing strategy designed to open new sales channels, ultimately fostering employment opportunities for youth and women.

The "Egyptian Hands" exhibition not only highlights Egypt's rich cultural heritage but also reinforces the government's ongoing efforts to support and sustain the handicrafts industry.
