Billionaire businessman Yassin Mansour revealed the fact that he lost half of his fortune, saying, "He has already lost half of his fortune, meaning he lost about $1 billion, but this happened after the January 2011 revolution," when the government demanded compensation for land and activities that cost him half of his fortune.

Mansour's statements come after a report published by Forbes magazine confirming that Yassin Mansour lost half of his fortune last year 2020, which was denied by the Egyptian billionaire. He said about the size of his fortune now, during his meeting with Al Arabiya, that the situation is better, but he refused to disclose its current value.

It is worth noting that Mansour is one of the richest people in Egypt and the Arab world, with a fortune of $1.1 billion, according to Forbes magazine. He also ranked 21st among the list of the richest Arabs in 2021, and is ranked globally in the 2524th position in the list of the world's richest people.

Mansour owns a group of companies in several different fields in the industrial sector and works in many different fields, in addition to owning the rights to distribute brands such as General Motors, Michelin, Kraft Food, and McDonald's.

He is also the Chairman and Managing Director of Palm Hills Developments since 2005, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of McDonald's Egypt, and the founder and member of the Board of Directors of the Mansour Group.

He is also a founding member of the Lead Foundation, a joint venture with the World Bank to finance small and medium-sized enterprises, and Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Future Association.
