The Arab Republic of Egypt expresses hope that President Trump’s pivotal Gulf tour—encompassing Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar—alongside the recent release of an American hostage through joint mediation by Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, will pave the way for meaningful progress toward a ceasefire, the release of all hostages and detainees, and the urgent delivery of humanitarian aid. These steps are vital to alleviating the suffering of the Palestinian people, who are rightfully entitled to a better future in their own land and homeland.

The Arab Republic of Egypt counts on President Trump’s leadership to bring regional security and stability, as a culmination of his efforts to achieve lasting peace and regional stability.

The Arab Republic of Egypt stresses the importance of supporting the Egyptian-Qatari-American mediation efforts to achieve a ceasefire and allow humanitarian aid into Gaza, paving the way for the implementation of the Arab plan for early recovery and reconstruction.
