Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy PM and Minister of Health and Population announced that Egypt was chosen to host the headquarters of the Arab Drug Agency, after the approval of the Council of Arab Health Ministers and the Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States.
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population Hossam Abdel Ghaffar confirmed that choosing Egypt as the headquarters of the Arab Drug Agency (WAAD) comes from Egypt's position and leadership in the pharmaceutical market in the Arab region.
He added that the agency represents a great opportunity to support Arab leadership in the field of pharmaceutical innovation and improving public health.
