On Tuesday, the Egyptian authorities succeeded in bringing Palestinian journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh from the Gaza Strip into the country to receive treatment.
The Egyptian Journalists Syndicate thanked the Egyptian state and the competent authorities for responding to the Syndicate’s request to facilitate the entry of colleague Wael Al-Dahdouh into Egypt to receive treatment.
The union contacted Al-Dahdouh after his arrival on the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing, and Al-Dahdouh thanked the Egyptian state, all Egyptian journalists, and the union council for their support for him and the Palestinian cause. He also thanked his colleagues on Al-Jazeera for their support for him, indicating that he would go to Qatar to complete his treatment.
