On Monday, Dr. Mostafa Waziri, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, signed protocol of “Ramses and the Gold of the Pharaohs” exhibition.

Waziri signed the protocol with Joel A. Bartsch, CEO of the Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS), as the exhibition will be held at the museum next November.

The exhibition will continue in Houston for 6 months and then move to San Francisco for another 6 months.

On his part, Waziri stated that the protocol includes all the terms related to securing antiquities in accordance with the regulations for holding the temporary archaeology exhibitions.

He also expressed his full confidence that the exhibition will come out in an optimal manner to promote Egypt’s tourist destinations.

Notably, the exhibition will include around 181 artifacts, highlighting some of the distinctive characteristics of the ancient civilization, from the Middle and Modern eras until the late period.
