Egypt Signs Number of Development Finance Grants with EU

The Ministry of International Cooperation and the European Union organized a ceremony to sign a number of development financing grants within the framework of the Egyptian-European partnership.

These grants will be directed to support the state's development efforts in various sectors, namely rural and community development, administrative reform, local development, environment, and health.

The celebration activities were opened by Dr. Rania Al-Mashat, Minister of International Cooperation, Christian Berger, the Ambassador of the European Union (EU) in Cairo, and representatives of a number of ministries, ambassadors of EU member states to Egypt, and development partners.

Dr. Al-Mashat stressed the importance of the strategic relations between Egypt and the EU, which comes within the framework of Egypt's development cooperation with multilateral and bilateral development partners to support efforts to achieve sustainable development within the framework of Vision 2030.
