A consortium of companies, including Infinity Power, the largest African renewable energy company, “Masdar”, the world’s leading Emirati company in the field of renewable energy, and “Hassan Allam”, revealed the signing of an agreement with the Egyptian government to provide a plot of land designated for the development of an onshore wind power plant with a production capacity of 10 gigawatts in Egypt.
The project is expected to become one of the largest wind power plants in the world, with investments exceeding $10 billion.
The signing ceremony of the agreement was witnessed by PM Mostafa Madbouly, and Mohamed Shaker, Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy.
