Egyptian Red Crescent launched its 193rd humanitarian aid convoy under the “Zad Al-Ezza... From Egypt to Gaza” initiative, sending thousands of tons of relief supplies toward the Gaza Strip as part of Egypt’s ongoing humanitarian support efforts.

The convoy carried approximately 4,417 tons of humanitarian assistance, including food baskets, flour, medical supplies, relief materials, and fuel needed to operate hospitals and vital facilities inside Gaza.

The shipment also included essential humanitarian items such as clothing, blankets, plastic sheeting, and tents to support displaced families affected by the ongoing crisis.

The Egyptian Red Crescent said it continues to operate on the border since the beginning of the conflict, maintaining readiness across all logistical centers and coordinating the delivery of humanitarian assistance into the Palestinian territory.

According to the organization, the Rafah border crossing on the Egyptian side has remained operational throughout the crisis, allowing continued humanitarian coordination and aid efforts.

The latest convoy raises the total volume of Egyptian humanitarian and relief aid sent to Gaza to more than 970,000 tons, delivered through the efforts of over 65,000 volunteers working with the Egyptian Red Crescent.
