The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) predicts moderately warm to warm weather will prevail in most parts of the country during Tuesday's daylight hours.

Hot weather is also expected to hit South Upper Egypt.

The country also witnesses mist, extending into fog, on the agricultural and highway roads from the north of the country to Cairo, Canal Cities, North Upper Egypt, and Central Sinai.

Winds occasionally occur in most parts of the country, stirring sand and dust in North Upper Egypt, the Red Sea governorate, and Sinai.

Light rainfall is predicted to prevail intermittently in Cairo, Gulf of Suez, Sinai, Halayeb, and Shalateen.

Light to moderate rain, sometimes thunderous and torrential, also forecast to hit the North Coast, Lower Egypt, and Canal Cities.

Furthermore, the Mediterranean Sea will experience moderate waves, ranging between 1.5 and 2.25 meters in height, with northwest surface winds.

Meanwhile, the Red Sea, the Gulf of Suez, and the Gulf of Aqaba will experience moderate to turbulent waves ranging between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height with northwest surface winds.

Cold weather is also expected to prevail in Egypt at night and in the early morning.

The predicted temperatures for the following cities are 24°C in Cairo, 22°C in Alexandria, 20°C in Marsa Matruh, 29°C in Sohag, 30°C in Qena, and 33°C in Aswan.
