Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly held a meeting on Thursday with Essam bin Saad bin Said, Saudi Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers, accompanied by an official delegation.
The meeting, attended by Egypt’s Finance Minister Ahmed Kouchouk, focused on strengthening cooperation and advancing shared investment priorities between Cairo and Riyadh.
Madbouly reaffirmed the deep-rooted and strategic nature of Egyptian-Saudi relations, describing them as a constant pillar of Egypt’s foreign policy. He emphasized that the two countries share not only history and culture but also a common destiny, facing the same regional challenges with aligned visions and mutual determination to safeguard Arab unity.
According to Cabinet Spokesman Mohamed El Homosany, the talks highlighted the longstanding partnership between the two nations and explored ways to expand bilateral ties across multiple sectors. Both sides agreed that the coming period should witness further cooperation that serves the shared interests of the Egyptian and Saudi peoples.
