Egypt have been ranked among the top 10 teams at the 2026 FIFA World Cup following the end of the second round of the group stage.
According to global football statistics platform FotMob, Egypt received a rating of 7.17 out of 10 in its assessment of team performances at the tournament, which is being held in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
The Pharaohs ranked ahead of several major teams, including Canada, Morocco, Portugal, Japan, Norway and Brazil.
France topped the list of the best-performing teams after the second round with a rating of 7.56 out of 10, followed by Germany in second place with 7.43 and Spain in third with 7.35.
Egypt’s presence among the top 10 reflects the strong impression made by the national team during the early stages of the tournament, as the competition continues to intensify ahead of the final round of group-stage matches.
