Egypt Raises Prices of Butane Gas Cylinders

Raising the price of butane gas pipes by 5 pounds for the home and 10 for commercial applications, tomorrow

The Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly issued a decision setting the selling price for liquid butane gas, provided that the price of a 12.5-kg cylinder, delivered from the distribution warehouse to the consumer, would be EGP 75, and the price of a 25-kg cylinder would be EGP 150.

The Official Gazette published this decision, which also included the price of a ton of gas, excluding transport freight, at an amount of EGP 6,000.

The decision will be implemented as of today, Friday, March 18, 2022.
