Egypt Issues Stern Warning Over Border Security After Fatal Incident in Rafah

A high-ranking source emphasized Egypt's commitment to safeguarding its border security personnel amidst increasing tensions. 

The country has issued a stern warning against any threats to the safety of its forces deployed along the border areas.

Colonel Gharib Abdel Hafez, the military spokesman for the Egyptian Armed Forces, confirmed that an investigation is underway regarding a recent gunfire incident in the border zone of Rafah. 

This tragic event led to the death of one of the security personnel tasked with protecting the area.

The Egyptian military is conducting thorough inquiries through the relevant authorities to determine the specifics of the incident and to ensure such events do not recur. 

Egypt remains vigilant in protecting its borders and ensuring the safety of its security forces against any form of aggression.
