Egypt Introduces 1st 3D TV Series “El Mahmya”

In the context of educating children about the importance of preserving the environment, in line with the global trend toward sustainability

United Media Services unveiled the promo of Egypt’s first animated TV series “El Mahmya” (the preserve) in line with the global trend towards sustainability.

The TV series, which is set to screen during the Ramadan marathon on the “Watch It” platform aims to encourage children to explore innovative ways to preserve natural reserves and fish from extinction.

It tells the story of Farah and Hamza, who live in an area called El Mahmya, which is endangered by a group of sharks, so they try to confront them and save the residents and animals.

The series consists of 30 episodes and the duration of each episode is 15 minutes, starring Ziyad El Gendy (Hamza) and Lama Hani (Farah).

“El Mahmya” is directed by Ahmed Mahdy and Hussein Magdy, screenplay and dialogue are by Basil Magdy.
