Egypt, Croatia discuss joint cooperation in economic sector

On Monday, Croatia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman expressed his country’s interest in increasing cooperation with Egypt in the economic sector, according to an official statement by Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Radman told Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry in a phone call that his country is looking forward to increasing and enhancing cooperation with Egypt.

In a step to strengthen their joint cooperation also, the two officials discussed close bilateral relations, especially cooperation in the economic sector and the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) issue.

In this regard, Croatia’s Minister underscored the mutual understanding between the two countries on the need to advance bilateral relations in trade, commerce, industry, and economics.

The two diplomats also discussed and reviewed a number of issues and files of mutual interest between the two countries.

In the same context, Shoukry reviewed the recent developments related to the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) issue.

Furthermore, Shoukry praised the strength of Egyptian-Croatia political and economical relations.

Shoukry also pointed out that cooperation between the two countries has already been facilitated on the margins of Radman’s visit to Egypt in the last month.
