Egypt strongly condemned Israel’s incursion into Syrian territory and the bombing of Koya, considering it a continuation of Israel’s policy to expand its control over occupied territories deep inside Syria.
In a statement issued by Foreign Ministry, Egypt categorically rejected Israel’s exploitation of Syria’s internal developments to seize more Syrian land and undermine the security and stability of the Syrian Arab Republic.
Furthermore, the statement added that Egypt viewed Israel’s attacks on Syrian territory as a flagrant violation of international law. It warns of serious consequences resulting from Israel’s irresponsible and aggressive policies.
Moreover, Egypt urged the UN Security Council and key international powers to fulfill their responsibilities in addressing this dangerous escalation in Syria.
Additionally, it reaffirmed the necessity of respecting Syria’s sovereignty, unity, and stability across its entire territory.
