Egypt Condemns Iranian Attacks on Kuwait

Egypt strongly condemned what it described as Iranian attacks targeting Kuwait, calling them a blatant violation of Kuwaiti sovereignty and a serious breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.

In a statement issued by the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Egypt reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait and support for the Gulf state in confronting what it described as dangerous attacks threatening its security, stability and the safety of its citizens.

Cairo stressed that the security and stability of Kuwait and all Gulf countries remain an integral part of Egyptian and Arab national security.

The statement also voiced Egypt’s support for all measures taken by Kuwait to protect its sovereignty and national security, while warning against the consequences of the escalating tensions, which it said undermine ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation.

The condemnation comes amid heightened regional tensions linked to the broader confrontation involving Iran and several regional and international actors.
