Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdel Aaty and UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of collective action to prevent further escalation in the region and to support efforts aimed at de-escalation and political solutions.

During a phone call, the two ministers underlined the need to create conditions conducive to diplomatic solutions in order to reduce the risk of escalation and safeguard regional security and stability, within the framework of ongoing consultation and coordination between the two countries.

The call also addressed bilateral relations, with both sides affirming the strength of ties between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates and their shared interest in advancing cooperation across various fields.

The ministers discussed regional developments, including the situation in Gaza. They stressed the need to implement the second phase of U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan, support the national committee tasked with administering Gaza, deploy an international stabilization force to monitor the ceasefire, ensure uninterrupted humanitarian aid, and prepare for early recovery and reconstruction while preserving the unity of Palestinian territories.
