The Egyptian Football Association spokesman Osama Ismail said EFA has not settled on the identity of Pharaohs new coach till now.
"The EFA did not discuss the identity of Egypt's national team new coach and everything reported in this regard was completely false," the spokesman said.
"We are focusing now on ending the current season successfully," he added.
It is worth mentioning that EFA President Hany Abou Rida resigned from his post after Egypt’s 2019 AFCON exit and announced the sacking of Mexican coach Javier Aguirre.
Last week, the media reported that Pharaohs' former coach Hassan Shehata is expected to lead the national team again.
