The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) asserted that all COVID-19 vaccines in Egypt are safe and effective, in addition, they passed all critical trial stages before being approved, the authority's spokesperson said on Wednesday.
He told Youm 7 that the vaccines used in Egypt are safe underscoring that exported vaccines go under strict and accurate tests to assuring their efficiency.
The spokesperson revealed that EDA is following up all academic and scientific updates regarding vaccines, moreover, the authority reviewing emergency use approvals every six months.
The state is set to receive within a few hours, a shipment of about 1,700,000 doses of AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine, the CEO of the Egyptian Company for Antisera owned by the Holding Company for Antisera and Vaccines (VACSERA) revealed.
