English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran’s one-year-old daughter Lyra Antarctica Seaborn Sheeran has tested positive for coronavirus.

The diagnosis comes after the singer announced that he had contacted the virus on Monday, ahead of his scheduled appearance on Saturday Night Live on October 30.

The “A Team” singer is currently isolating with his daughter for 10 days away from his wife, Cherry Seaborn.

In a statement to Daily Mail on Tuesday, Sheeran noted: "Sometimes I am away and spend just two days a week with her, so being able to be with her for 10 straight days is great. I just spoke to Cherry and told her to relax, take long baths! Our fridge is full and we are just eating all the time.”

The singer, whose fourth album  “=” (Equals) is scheduled to release on Friday, had shared on YouTube a sneak peek at all 14 tracks featured on his fourth studio album.

Sheeran took to Instagram on Monday to share the news, saying: “My new album ‘=’ is out on Friday, but if you head to my @youtube channel now you can get a sneak peek of all 14 tracks on #YouTubeShorts. Go get creative and share your videos with #SheeranShorts gonna pick some favourites to win some custom signed artwork x”.
