Dr. Moustafa El Feki Receives Ambassador of Cuba

Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina Dr. Moustafa El Feki, received the Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt Tania Aguiar Fernandez.

Dr. Moustafa Elfeki said that the Cuban people have respect and appreciation everywhere in the world.

The ambassador stressed the depth of the historical relations between Egypt, Cuba and Latin countries, stressing that Cuba has supported the Arab region, especially the Palestinian cause.

The ambassador added that her first official visit was to Alexandria, especially Bibliotheca Alexandrina, pointing out that the library has advanced technology and impressive production, and reminds her of her country, Cuba.

The ambassador pointed out to a cooperation project between Bibliotheca Alexandrina and the National Library in Cuba, because she believes that the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is one of the largest and most important libraries in the world.

The Ambassador presented Dr. Moustafa Elfeki a set of books on Guevara. Dr. Moustafa Elfeki also gifted the ambassador a set of Bibliotheca Alexandrina publications for the Embassy of Cuba in Cairo.
