Donia Samir Ghanem to Make Stage Debut

Egyptian singer-actress, Donia Samir Ghanem to star opposite actor Ali Rabee in an untitled play.

The play will be directed by Otaka and mark Ghanem's theatrical debut.

The actress is also slated to appear in the film “Taslim Ahali”.

It also stars the actress’ late mother Dalal Abdel Aziz as well as Hesham Maged, Bayoumi Fouad, Ahmed Fathy, Amr Wahba, and others.

“Taslim Ahali” is directed by Khaled El-Halfawy.

The film marks Ghanem's comeback to the big screen after six years of absence.

The actress made her last cinematic appearance in the 2019 film, “Laf W Dawaran".

Ghanem will also be seen in the TV series “Alam Mawazy”.

The series was postponed last Ramadan after a large number of the cast contracted the Coronavirus, including the actress and her late mother Dalal Abdel Aziz.

“Alam Mawazy” also stars Amr Wahba, Shaima Saif, Outaka, Islam Ibrahim, and others.

The series consists of 15 episodes and was written by Wahba and Hisham Gamal, who also directed the series and co-produced it along with United Media Services.
