The exchange rate of the US dollar witnessed a noticeable rise against the Lebanese pound at the end of the week's trading, on Friday, on the official exchange platform "Sayrafa", and in the informal market, after a stability that lasted for nearly two weeks.
The exchange rate on Sayrafa recorded 25,200 Lebanese liras per dollar, an increase of 300 liras from the average price yesterday, which recorded 24,900 liras per dollar, while the exchange rate in the informal market rose to 30,000 liras per dollar, and in exchange offices 29,500 liras per dollar.
