Dollar Continues to Fall against EGP

CAIRO, Feb. 24(SEE)- The exchange rate of the dollar fell against the Egyptian pound between one and two piastres, in eight banks, at the end of Sunday's trading.

The exchange rate of the dollar in Banque Misr and National Bank Of Egypt (NBE) declined one piastre to record EGP 17.46 for purchase, and EGP 17.56 for sale.

The rate also dropped by two piastres in the Commercial International Bank (CIB), Alexandria, and Credit Agricole to record EGP 17.47 for purchase, and EGP 17.57 for sale.

In the Arab African International Bank, prices dropped one piastre at EGP 17.47 for the purchase price and EGP 17.57 for sale.

The price of the greenback fell two piastres in the Suez Canal Bank recording EGP 17.48 and EGP 17.58.

At the Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), rates also dropped two piastres at EGP 17.49 and EGP 17.59.

However, the dollar settled at the Housing & Development and Al-Baraka banks at EGP 17.51 and EGP 17.61.

Last Thursday, dollar prices fell by 3 piasters in most banks operating in the Egyptian exchange market, recording around 17.49 for the purchase price and 17.59 for the sale one.
