"Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" New Footage Revealed

Marvel Studios unveiled Wednesday new footage from the highly-anticipated movie “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness”.

The footage featured Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) facing his reckoning as enemies from every dimension threaten the Master of Mystic Arts.

Among the villains are wizard-hunter Karl Mordo (Chiwetel Ejiofor), an interdimensional squid monster, an evil version of himself, and Marvel’s Illuminati.

It also showed Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) destroying what looks like a metal helmet and a new glimpse of a flying human involved in energy.

"Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" follows the danger the Multiverse is facing due to Strange’s constant messing with space-time.

He is forced to reach out to Wanda, who goes by Scarlet Witch after the events of WandaVision, to prevent the universe from collapsing,

The movie is directed by Sam Raimi and is the follow-up to 2016’s “Doctor Strange”.

The sequel also stars Rachel McAdams as Christine Palmer and Benedict Wong as Wong. It will also see the introduction of Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez, also known as Miss America.

The sequel is the twenty-eighth movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and the tenth installment of Phase Four.

“Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness” has an official runtime of 2 hours and 6 minutes.

The movie has a PG-13 rating for intense sequences of violence and action, frightening images, and some language.

“Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness” debuts in theaters on May 6.
