Dina El Sherbiny and Amr Youssef's Film "Darwish" Begins Production

Production has begun on Dina El Sherbiny and Amr Youssef's film "Darwish".

The cast also includes Mohamed Shahin, Tara Emad, Khaled Kamal, Moustafa Ghareeb, and more.

The film hails from scriptwriter Wissam Sabry and director Waleed El Halfawy. Mohamed Hefzy is producing.

"Darwish" depicts the adventures of a charming con man whose life is full of challenges and dangers.

The pair collaborated earlier this year in the romance-action film “Shaqo” (Brothers).

The star-studded film debuted in the Eid Al-Fitr movie marathon and also stars Yousra, Mohamed Mamdouh, Amina Khalil, Abbas Abul-Hassan, Mohamed Gomaa, Walid Fawaz, and more.

The film is scripted by Wissam Sabri, helmed by Karim El Sobky, and produced by Ahmed El Sobky.

“Shaqo” marks the fifth collaboration between El Sherbiny and Youssef after the 2012 TV series "Taraf Talet", the 2016 TV series "Grand Hotel", the 2017 TV series "Asham Iblis", and the 2016 film "Kedbet Kol Youm".
