David O. Russell's New Movie Gets Title, First Look

The official title and first look of American director David O. Russell‘s star-studded new movie has been unveiled.

Disney distribution chief Tony Chambers revealed Wednesday at CinemaCon that the official title for the movie will be "Amsterdam".

The movie is set during the early 20th century and revolves around three friends.

"Amsterdam" stars Robert De Niro, Taylor Swift, Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Rami Malek, Zoe Saldana, Mike Myers, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Shannon, Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Alessandro Nivola.

The 20th Century Studios movie is written and directed by Russell, which wrapped filming in March 2021 but remains shrouded in absolute secrecy.

Russell is also producing the movie along with Matthew Budman.

Moreover, the three-time Oscar winner Emmanuel Lubezki serves as the cinematographer while Oscar-winning Joker composer Hildur Guðnadóttir is on scoring duties.

"Amsterdam" is backed by New Regency and set to be released by 20th Century Studios on November 4.
