The 20th Century Studios released the official trailer and poster for acclaimed writer and director David O. Russell‘s star-studded movie "Amsterdam" has been unveiled.

The movie is set during the early 20th century and revolves around three friends.

“Amsterdam” stars Robert De Niro, Taylor Swift, Christian Bale, Margot Robbie, John David Washington, Rami Malek, Zoe Saldana, Mike Myers, Timothy Olyphant, Michael Shannon, Chris Rock, Anya Taylor-Joy, Andrea Riseborough, Matthias Schoenaerts, and Alessandro Nivola.

The movie is a blend of historical fact and fiction.

Set in the '30s, "Amsterdam" follows two soldiers (Bale and Washington) and a nurse (Robbie) who witness a murder, become wrongfully accused of murder, and find themselves at the heart of one of America's most shocking historical plots.

They are forced to solve the crime and clear their names through the help of some wild characters played by a large handful of familiar faces.

"Amsterdam" is written, directed, and produced by Russell. Bale, Arnon Milchan, Matthew Budman, and Anthony Katagas are producing as well.

The executive producers for the movie are Yariv Milchan, Michael Schaefer, and Sam Hanson.

"Amsterdam" marks Russell's first feature-length return to the director's chair since 2015's "Joy" starring Jennifer Lawrence.

The movie wrapped filming in March 2021. The three-time Oscar winner Emmanuel Lubezki serves as the cinematographer while Oscar-winning Joker composer Hildur Guðnadóttir is on scoring duties.

“Amsterdam” is backed by New Regency and set to be released by 20th Century Studios on November 4.
