Culture Min. Watches “Al - Bakhil - The Miser “ in Opera Malak

Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture attended “Al-Bakhil’ (The Miser) Play for the famous French writer Moliere on Opera Malak Theater in Ramesis District.

The ceremony was attended by the artist Ismail Mokhtar, Head of the Artistic House of Theater.

Abdel Dayem said that the works of the western international literature, presented on the State Theater, confirm the importance of Egypt's openness to various cultures.

Abdel Dayem also pointed out to the importance of the discovery of the treasures of literature that formed some features of Egypt’s artistic history, praising the positive messages of the show that contributes effectively to spread moral ideal values.

The play “The Miser” presents a satirical treatment of the personality of the bourgeois” Harpigun “ who refuses to allow his two sons to choose their wives and his insistence on marrying them to the wealthy wives despite age differences.

The show is produced by Al-Shabab Theater, directed by Adel Hassan, prepared by Khaled Hassouna.
