UAE Amb., Culture Min. Discuss Bilateral Cultural, Artistic Exchange

Dr. Enas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Culture, received Juma Mubarak Al-Junaibi, UAE Ambassador to Cairo to discuss the ways of enhancing the bilateral intellectual and artistic relations between the two countries.

Abdel Dayem said that Egypt and the UAE have strong ties, pointing to the long history of friendly relations between the two brotherly societies, adding that the coming period will witness a variety of creative activities to strengthen bridges of communication and to heighten the bonds of friendship between Abu Dhabi and Cairo.

The two countries discussed a number of projects aimed at shedding light on the intellectual and artistic movement in the two societies.

The minister pointed out that the meeting dealt with many cultural issues on the Arabic and international levels.

On his part, Al-Junaibi praised the cultural renaissance happening in Egypt, stressing on his follow-up to the various intellectual and artistic activities that reached to the various Arab countries.

He stressed the need to start implementing the artistic and cultural exchange projects between the two states.

Noteworthy, Relations between Egypt and Emirates have always been distinguished throughout the past decades.

Trade exchange between the two countries has been steadily increasing.

The recently-adopted upgrades and amendments to Egypt's legal system, most notably the new investment law, represent key steps towards luring many investments from Europe and Arab countries, especially from the UAE to the Egyptian market.
