Abdel Dayem said that the memory of the glorious victories of October war remains a defining moment in modern history, confirming the determination of the Egyptians who succeeded in clearing the land of Egypt and regaining a precious part of it. Egypt will make more achievements in various fields.
• The Egyptian Opera House
The Egyptian Opera House, headed by Dr. Magdy Saber, will hold 9 different events including 6 concerts presented by Arab music Ensemble in Cairo, Alexandria and Damanhour.
These concerts will start at 8pm on Sunday, 6 th October. They will include a selection of the most famous national melodies and songs that express the feelings of pride and belonging, presented on: The Opera’s The Grand Theaters, Al- Gomhourya Theater, Arab Music Institute, Sayed Darwish Theater "Alexandria Opera", Opera Damanhour, Sayed Darwish, Alexandria Opera Theater, and Opera Damanhour Theater.
It will also feature a concert for children ,choral classes and ballet classes affiliated to Talent Development Center, screening the film entitled” Al- Mamar-The Corridor” at 7 pm on Monday, 7 October on The Grand Theater- followed by a discussion with the creators of the film.
The organizers will also hold a symposium entitled “Makers of October Victories” on Friday, 18 October on Damanhour Opera Theater - in cooperation with the Supreme Council of Culture, in addition to a seminar entitled “ Egypt And The Crossing Of 73 “ on the stage of Sayed Darwish Theater in Alexandria on Saturday evening 26 October.
• Cultural Development Fund
The Cultural Development Fund, headed by Dr. Fathi Abdel Wahab, will prepares a vivid program to celebrate 73 Victories on October2019 including 13 events:
- Arab Poetry House will hold a poetry evening entitled “October War in the Egyptian poetry” at 7 pm on Sunday, 6 October -with the participation of a group of senior creative poets.
- Al- Ghouri Dome presents a concert for “Soudasy Sharara “Ensemble on 6 October, in addition to organizing a symposium entitled “The Challenges of Egypt” at 7pm on 3 October.
Major General Tamer El Shahawy and the media figure Nasr El Kaffas will take part in the event.
- Al- Horya Center For Creativity in Alexandria will present an operetta entitled “Story of the Victory” on 21 October.
- Talaat Harb Cultural Center will hold a new session of the Cultural Salon entitled “Memory of the Homeland” which hosts and honors a number of those who participated in October war accompanied by the Center’s Coral Ensemble on 7 October, followed by organizing a seminar to educate school students on 7 October. In addition, the center will organize a trip for its visitors to see the panorama of “October war” on Sunday morning 12 October. This will be followed by a poetic evening with the participation of the poet Mohammed Bahgat on 20 October.
- Arab Singing House will hold a salon entitled “The National Song Tunes” in cooperation with “The cultural program of the Egyptian Radio” on 10 October, as well as presenting a concert for “The youth of The Golden Voice”- led by Maestro Medhat Abdel Samie on 31October.
- Beit Al-Suhaimi will organize an exhibition for Arabic calligraphy entitled “The Victory“ on 27 October.
• The Supreme Council for Culture
The Supreme Council for Culture, headed by Dr. Hisham Azmi, will organize seven events in cooperation with The Ministry's sectors on October. Several seminars will be organized to discuss the ways to promote national belonging in Alexandria Culture Palace, methods of fighting rumors in Qena Culture Palace, the war in Sinai, social protection and Egypt Vision 2030. This will be followed by an exhibition of children's drawings in Al- Sayed Zeinab Cultural Garden.
- House of Books in Bab al-Khalq will present a seminar about “The Memory of the Homeland “.In addition to presenting an artistic performance and a documentary exhibition on 9 October.
- Dar Al- Wathak in Al- Fustat organizes a seminar about “The religious discourse between the renovation and the living reality “, in addition to organizing a celebration for “October war” .
• The Cultural Production Sector
The cultural production sector, headed by the artist Khaled Galal, will organize an artistic celebration including presenting number of famous national works, as well as honoring a number of the heroes of October war and a group of artists who participated in the cinematic and dramatic works dealing with the great victory.
• The Artistic House of Theater
The Artistic House of Theater, headed by the artist Ismail Mokhtar, will present four theatrical performances: "Wlad El Balad"- produced by “The Modern Theater Troupe”. It will continue until 9 October on Culture Palaces of: Sharm El Sheikh,El Tur, Wadi Khreiza, Wadi Mandar, Sharm El Sheikh Youth Center and will last until 20 October. Furthermore, it will present the play "As If you See It" from 10 to 12 October on “Gezira Youth Center Theater” in Cairo, as well as the play “Amr Taklif “ in Fayoum Culture Palace on 10 October. It will rotate the governorates in Al-Minia University from 11 to 15 October and concludes with Beni Suef University until 19 October.
• The National Cinema Center
The National Cinema Center, headed by Dr. Souad Shawki, will present Cinematic celebration entitled "October and Cinema", which will include screening 47 films and organizing seminars dealing with this national occasion.
• National Center for Theater, Music and Folklore
The National Center for Theater, Music and Folklore, headed by Yasser Sadek organizes three events including: Presenting a symposium entitled “October War and Its Impact on The Artistic and Cultural Life in Egypt”; it was directed by Brigadier General Mohamed Nabil.
This will be followed by screening a documentary film and presenting an artistic concert by the Center's Music Ensemble-, which will present a collection of the most beautiful national songs - at 7 pm on 4 October in Opera Malak Theater.
• Folklore Art House
Folklore Art House, headed by the artist Adel Abdo, will organize 3 events including: presenting an artistic celebration entitled "Teaeshy Ya Misr" in Salah Jahin Hall from 6 to 12 October. This will be followed by presenting the play “I Am The Groom" from 16 to 24 October, as well as the play “Magic of Dreams" from 6 to 20 October on Balloon Theater.
• Plastic Arts Sector
Plastic Arts Sector, headed by Dr. Khaled Sorour, will organize 13 events during October. It will include art workshops for children, poetry evenings, symposiums in museums and art centers, artistic workshop in the field of painting and coloring for children from 7 to 14 years old at Mustafa Kamel Museum on 9 and 23 October. Another workshop will be held in Ramattan Cultural Center on 22 October and a third workshop to teach drawing to the children from 11 to 14 years old will be staged in Prince Mohammed Waheeduddin Selim Museum on 9 October.
A fourth workshop in painting and coloring for the children from 7 to 18 years old will be held in Ratib Siddiq Center On Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday every week. The Sector will also organize one-day drawing and painting workshops for students from 8 to 15 years old in Mohamed Nagy Museum on 9, 16, 23, 27 and 30 October.
Furthermore, On 20 October, a group of symposiums dealing with October Victory will be held under the titles “the Egyptians in the battle of October” run by Dr. Mohamed Kamal El-Sayed in Al- Mansoura National Museum on 20 October.
On 8 October in Zakaria Al-Khanani Center, will discuss a seminar entitled “ October endless heroism“ with the participation of Major General Magdy Shehata, Major General Moataz El-Sharkawy, writer Mohamed El-Shafei, artist Islam Kamal and managed by Dr. Sahar Sherbini on 3 October in Al- Hadara Hall.
In Zakaria Al-Khanani Center, a discussion will be held to analyze the book “ Hakawi Misrana” revealing the secrets of the writer Ali al-Fishawi with the participation of: poet Abdel Sattar Selim, Dr. Yousry Abdel Ghani on 13 October .
On 8 October, in Al- Nasr Museum of Modern Art in Port Said, a symposium about the victories October will be run by Major General Ibrahim Azab , in addition to organizing a poetic evening with the participation of: the poet Mohammad Al-Shamandi and the singer Ahlam Ahmed in Al- Hadara Cinema Center -Hall 1- on 3 October , in addition to presenting a concert by Coral Children Ensemble of Mahmoud Said Center led by Maestro Mahmoud Abu Zeid on 31 October.
• The General Organization of Culture Palaces
The General Organization of Culture Palaces, headed by Dr. Ahmed Awwad, will organize a huge program to celebrate the victory of October, aiming to deliver cultural events to all the Egyptian regions.
The program will include presenting: Poetry evenings, one day celebrations, discussion of the most important literary works dealing with October War, film screenings of the most important works that show the Armed Forces heroism and children's narrative workshops.
