Crude Oil, Gas Top Egypt's Exports to India

Egyptian exports to India have witnessed a remarkable increase in the recent period, according to government data. The value of Egyptian exports to India rose to about $1,482,000,000 in 2019 as It was 1,145,000,000 in 2018, with an increase of about $337 million.

According to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS), crude oil topped the list of the most important items that witnessed a rise during 2019. The crude oil exports rose to $864 million, compared to $594 million in 2018, with an increase of about $270 million.

It was followed by refined oil exports amounted to $66 million in 2019, compared to $17.4 million in 2018, an increase of $48.6 million.

The list included the Liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports, amounting to $44 million in 2019, compared to $36.4 million in 2018, an increase of $7.6 million.

The fertilizer exports were amounted to $121.5 million, compared to $73.4 million during the comparison period, an increase of $48.1 million.

Cotton exports rose to $93.2 million in 2019, compared to $69.3 million in 2018, an increase of $23.9 million.

Finally, exports of iron and its products were amounted to $34.3 million in 2019, compared to $2.8 million in 2018, an increase of about $31.5 million.
