On Saturday, Morocco registered 97 new coronavirus confirmed cases over the past 24 hours, raising the total cases to 1545, according to the state's ministry of health.
In a statement, the ministry added that 4 new deaths have also been confirmed, increasing the death toll to 111.
It also pointed out that 22 coronavirus patients have been recovered with a total of 146 recoveries.
"The number of cases excluded after negative test results carried out in the laboratory amounted to 6,207," the ministry noted.
The ministry urged citizens to respect the rules of hygiene and health security as well as the preventive measures taken by the Moroccan authorities by showing responsibility and patriotism.
