Chloë Grace Moretz's "Mother/Android" Gets Release Date

Hulu announced Wednesday the release date and first look at Chloë Grace Moretz's new movie "Mother/Android".

The streamer revealed that the sci-fi movie will debut on December 17.

The movie is written and directed by Mattson Tomlin. It also star Algee Smith and Raúl Castillo.

"Mother/Android" features Moretz as Georgia, a pregnant woman who along with her boyfriend Sam, played by Smith, are attempting to escape the country that is in the grips of an unforeseen war with artificial intelligence.

The couple, who are a few short days away from welcoming their first child, must embark on a journey to the No Man’s Land, a fortress at the center of the android uprising, to and get to safety.

Tomlin makes his feature directorial debut with "Mother/Android" after writing screenplays for "The Batman" and "Project Power". Meanwhile,

The Batman director Matt Reeves serves as a producer on the project, as do Adam Kassan, Rafi Crohn, Bill Block, and Charles Miller.
