CBE Launches Investor Relations Portal to Promote Dialogue with Investors

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced the launch of a portal to enhance levels of transparency for investors on the bank’s policies and statements.

This comes to promote proactive dialogue with investors while allowing investors the ability to reach out to the CBE in order to gain insight about economic developments and prospects.

Sally Refaat, a Sub-Governor Markets Sector Assistant at CBE said on Wednesday that the platform, which was launched on the bank’s website, aims to encourage the establishment of a constructive dialogue and boost communication for investors with the bank to reach a more transparant vision on economic developments.

Refaat added that the platform provides a comprehensive overview of the macroeconomic action plans in Egypt.

"The portal’s aim is to provide an overview of the macroeconomic framework, a series of useful links that should help with CBE website navigation, and updates on any upcoming events organized by the Investors Relations Unit."
