The Central Bank of Egypt said that it decided to suspend work in all banks operating in Egypt on Thursday, January 6, 2022.
The bank added in a statement ton Sunday: “The work will resume on Sunday morning, January 9.”
The cabinet decided earlier to grant an official holiday next Thursday on the occasion of Christmas.
