Carole Samaha Announces New Single “Ya Shabab Ya Banat”

Lebanese superstar, Carole Samaha announced Tuesday on Instagram that she will release a new single entitled “Ya Shabab Ya Banat” in the coming days.

Samaha noted that after her song "Shokran", which was released last February, she was more excited for her fans to hear her new song, “Ya Shabab Ya Banat”.

It is written and composed by Salim Assaf.

In September, Samaha opened up about the reason behind the delay of her new music.

Despite promising her fans of releasing new singles in the summer, the superstar revealed that she wasn’t psychologically ready to release new work due to the current situation in Lebanon.

Samaha also shared an update about her forthcoming album. The superstar noted that she had been working on the new album for two years due to the audio mixing being incomplete as it is made in Lebanon and there is no electricity in the country.

She added the album was not finished as the album required long hours in the studio because it included 11 songs.

The superstar stated that the new album will be released between September and October.

“I promise you, as soon as it is finished, I will inform you of its release date,” she added.
