Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's office announced on Sunday that his country is allocating an additional 169 million Canadian dollars (about $130 million US) towards several reconstruction and development programs in Ukraine.

The funds include 75 million Canadian dollars, equivalent to over $57 million US, aimed at enhancing peace and security through mine clearance, cybersecurity support, and intelligence assistance.

Furthermore, 15 million Canadian dollars, about $11.5 million US, will be directed towards completing the National Museum that narrates the history of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

The package also comprises around $17 million US for humanitarian aid, $30 million US for developmental assistance, and about $14 million US for stabilization efforts including chemical weapon reduction and counter-information warfare.

Moreover, $15 million US will be allocated to various stabilization projects to mitigate threats from nuclear, radiological, and chemical materials and to combat misinformation.
