On Sunday, Kensington Palace released the first official portrait of the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, since her abdominal surgery on the occasion of the Mother's Day in the UK.
The photo depicted Princess Kate beaming with her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. The photo was taken by Prince William, the Prince of Wales, at their home in Windsor.
The Princess of Wales said in her message: "Thank you for your kind wishes and continued support over the last two months. Wishing everyone a Happy Mother's Day."

Kate Middleton was amid growing concerns she had "gone missing" which were fueled last week after Prince William pulled out of a scheduled appearance at the last minute.
Kingston Palace posted an update on the Princess of Wales health after the rumors. A spokesperson for Princess Kate said: "We were very clear from the outset that the Princess of Wales was out until after Easter and Kensington Palace would only be providing updates when something was significant," asserting that she is "doing well."
