Cairo University Participates in Hiroshima Celebration in Japan

SEE-August9-Yesterday, Dr. Mohamed Osman El-Khasht, President of Cairo University, participated in Japan's filled up of the 73 anniversary of the Hiroshima atomic bomb.

Japan held a major celebration in Hiroshima in August under the sponser of the Prime Minister, and invited political figures, international academies and officials from all over the world, as well as the ambassadors accredited in Tokyo to launch a message of peace and renounce the nuclear arms conflict.

After attending the ceremony,Dr.Al khasht  held a meeting with

Hiroshima Mayor" Kazumi Matsui" and discussed ways of cooperation in education, culture and peace, and the exchange of experiences with Cairo University in applied science and economic and political research

President of Cairo University and Egyptian Ambassador Ayman Kamel

proposed that the city of Sharm el-Sheikh and the Suez Canal be joined to "Deans for Peace" as cities of peace, as well as UNESCO's choice of Sharm Shaykh as a world peace city.

There was also an agreement on a double degree of awarding bachelors degree in nanotechnology  to  creat futures jobs.
