The Egyptian capital, Cairo, will host three-day meetings on Sunday to discuss the Libyan crisis’s developments. The meetings shall include representatives from the House of Representatives, the Supreme Council of State in Libya, and members of the Constitution Commission.

Libyan sources said that the meeting, which will be held under the auspices of the United Nations in Cairo, will discuss the constitutional course in Libya.

The upcoming Cairo's meetings come after the success of the second round of the Libyan dialogue in the Moroccan city of Bouznika between the Libyan parties.

The Moroccan Foreign Minister, Nasser Bourita, confirmed that the parties involved in the Libyan dialogue had reached understandings on the distribution of sovereign positions, noting that "the Libyans are able to solve their problems without any external interference."

"One of the elements that helped the success of the dialogue in Bouznika was that the dialogue was Libyan. It was developed by the Libyans and chosen by the Libyans, and led by the Libyans, without influence or interference, and this is an important thing because it opened the way for the Libyans to understanding,” he said.

"What we feel is that this dialogue has a positive and long breath that will not before obstacles, and there is a determination to overcome these obstacles," he added.

Bourita also stressed Morocco's positive role in the talks, noting that his country is keen on stabilizing Libya and resolving its crisis.

It is noteworthy that the new session within the second round of the Libyan dialogue was launched in the Moroccan city of Bouznika, in order to put an end to the field and political tension that the country has been witnessing for years.

On his part, a member of the Libyan House of Representatives, Idris Omran, confirmed that the minutes of the consensus reached between the Libyan parties in recent meetings in the Moroccan city of Bouznika will be presented to the institutions of the Parliament and the Supreme Council of State.

He added that "the second round of the Libyan dialogue reached understandings on the criteria for selecting the sovereign positions."

The representative of the Libyan House of Representatives confirmed the continuation of the consultative meetings in Morocco.
