Cairo Governor Receives US-Congress Delegation in Asmarat

Cairo Governor Khaled Abdel Al Aal received on Friday a 12-member delegation from the US Congressmen's assistants at Asmarat city on the sidelines of their visit in Egypt to inspect the developments being executed in all fields.

The delegation toured the city and visited the Sports city, the building of Social Solidarity that contained a center for Child Development, nursery, family counseling office, and center for assisting the people with disabilities and speech clinic.

In the same context, they visited the mosque, the church, and other services places in the city.

On his side, Abdel Aal pointed out that Al Asmarat is one of the mega projects that established by Egypt to create a better, improved, and safe housing alternative for Egyptian residents who used to live in slums.

Cairo Governor added that the authorities exert efforts in providing all services in the cities for those who used to live in dangerous habitats such as schools, medical facilities, playgrounds, and transportation, in addition to creating job opportunities.

The governor pointed out that this project would not be true without the the success of economic reform program that backed by President Abdel Fattah Sisi for re-distributing the resources of economic relief to fund real developmental and improving projects.

He concluded that these projects that dedicated to human development and improvement is part of Egypt's efforts for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

On their side, the US- Congress members expressed their amazement for Decent Life initiative, alongside their appreciation in the efforts done by the Egyptian authorities for improving the Egyptians' lives quality.
