Egypt's embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine issued on Tuesday more warnings to the Egyptian citizens who didn't leave the European country yet, demanding them for following six procedures for safety in the light of increasing Russian raids.

The embassy asked the Egyptians in the state to be careful and make sure to download the Trivago application and turn the notifications on, in addition to taking safe shelter after hearing the warning alerts.

Next, it urged them to identify the closest safe shelters to them and avoid getting closer to all governmental, infrastructure, shopping malls, and military facilities, in addition to huge crowds as they could represent good targets for Russian forces.

Therefore, the embassy asserted the importance of following the instructions of the Ukrainian authorities and recognising the imposed martial laws of the region where they live, including the timings of the curfew.

Moreover, it asked citizens to make sure for having their official documents such as passports, and travelling papers, alongside keeping good storage for food, clean water, and medicines.

Finally, the embassy affirmed to citizens to contact the embassy in an emergency at +380930622917.

It is worthy to mention that the death toll from the Russian attack on a shopping mall in Ukraine has risen to 18.

Dmytro Lunin, the governor of the Ukrainian region, Poltava, announced the latest casualty figures this morning, Tuesday, via the Telegram application, after the continuation of rescue and combing operation in the city of Kremenchuk.

Prosecutor’s office in Ukraine mentioned that about 60 people were injured in Monday’s attack, and more than 40 people have yet to be found.

Ukraine blames Russia for the attack, saying that X-22 air-to-ground missiles fired from long-range Tu-22 launchers were used.

“The occupiers launched a missile strike at the shopping center. There were more than a thousand civilians. The mall is on fire, rescuers are extinguishing fire, number of victims is unimaginable,” President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on the messaging app, Telegram.
