At least 12 civilians were killed and 6 others were injured in an attack by armed men in northwest Burkina Faso, kilometers from the border with Mali.
Russia Today reported, quoting a resident without revealing his identity, that "dozens of men on motorcycles attacked the village of Tenkodogo in Kossi district, resulting in 12 dead and 6 injured."
Another eyewitness confirmed that the attack killed 13 people.
