With BTS currently on hiatus, the K-pop idols have been hard at work pursuing individual projects. In recent months, several of the band have released their own music, and all of them have received widespread acclaim on a global scale.

Now, it appears that another one of the seven members of the band is getting ready to make his mark with a debut solo album.

South Korean news outlet Sports Chosun reported Jungkook, the youngest member of BTS, is gearing up to release his solo album on July 14.

The announcement quickly spread like wildfire across the world, as any news related to the band and its members tends to captivate the attention of fans everywhere.

BTS's label, Big Hit Music, responded to the rumors, stating, "We will make an announcement once the release schedule for Jungkook's solo album has been confirmed,".

Jungkook's upcoming album is said to include an English-language song that has the potential to become a major hit in the U.S. The song's inclusion may lead to increased radio airplay, making it more accessible to listeners beyond BTS's dedicated fanbase.

The 25-year-old musician- whose full name is Jeon Jungkook - has released a number of solo songs such as "Still With You", "Dreamers", "My You", and "Stay Alive".

On the other hand, BTS are celebrating their 10th anniversary with a new song called "Take Two". The band- also comprising SUGA, Jimin, V, RM, J-Hope and Jin - will release their second song of the year - which follows May's "The Planet" - on June 9 in honor of their loyal fanbase.

"The song conveys their appreciation toward ARMY for all the love you shower them with and their desire to always be together with you. We sincerely express our gratitude to ARMY for making the 10th anniversary possible with your endless love for BTS," the agency said.

Moreover, the South Korean-formed phenomenon will also celebrate their milestone with FESTA. The annual festival will take place in Seoul, South Korea on June 17 and will be open to the public.

BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, began forming in 2010 after Big Hit Entertainment founder Bang Si-hyuk recruited RM followed by Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. However, the band officially debuted in 2013.

Since then, the artists have gone on to experience dynamite success, including two Grammy nominations, six no. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and an ARMY of fans.

The K-pop idols will pursue solo projects as they enlist in South Korea's mandatory military service. BTS will be on hiatus until 2025.
