BTS Announces New Album, Release Date

South Korean K-pop group BTS revealed Sunday on social media a new album with the tagline “We Are Bulletproof”.

The band also shared that the album will be released on June 10.

The album was first teased at the end of the final date of the pop icons' recent four-night Las Vegas residency, with the date “2022.06.10” appearing on a video at the end of the show, alongside the tagline: “We are bulletproof”.

Big Hit Music, confirmed the album in a post on the fan community platform Weverse and added that details on the album will be provided in a separate notice at a later date.

Earlier this month, the band made appearances at both the Grammys and the Oscars, emphasizing their still-growing mainstream popularity.

Following the Grammys ceremony, the band extended their “Permission to Dance on Stage” tour with four stops at Allegiant Stadium, in Las Vegas, the United States.

The pop icons performed on April 8, 19, 15, and 16, with the last show being live-streamed.

Moreover, the band's concert film, “BTS Permission to Dance on Stage: Seoul” earned $32.6 million in its opening weekend at the international box office from 3,711 cinemas in 75 markets.
